The owners, a couple and a dog, after living for some years in a single-family home, were looking for a spacious, bright flat with outdoor space.

At first they didn’t think about a complete renovation, but rather a facelift and the removal of some walls to achieve a unified day area.

Finally, we designed a complete new layout, eliminating corridors and dead angles, creating a bright, open-plan day area.

We also designed a sinuous central core clad in flexible wooden panels that gives personality and identity to the house and hides the wet rooms and leads to a more private area.

With this project we managed to break with traditional compartmentalisation and create spaces of interest, designed for day-to-day comfort.
