Proposal for the remodeling of the Plaza de la Iglesia and its urban environment

The design of the proposal presented for the renovation and harmony of the contest responds formally and functionally to the multiple activities that take place in the Plaza de la Iglesia in Ibi.

From leisure and relationship activities to winter parties and other official acts, this space is also accessible to all users.

Its new topography is characterized by its versatility and independence of use. It has the ability to be used in a conventional way, fostering the appearance of new recreational-cultural, sports, or relationship activities.

This new architectural setting presents a controlled topography that draws a terraced space which compresses and expands.

It generates different flat spaces, well communicated between them in order to eliminate the different architectural barriers presented by the old design.
