1st Prize Commemorative Logo Contest: 100 years of agriculture in La Marina

Perhaps, for most of us, when we think of La Marina, we think of a beach, pine forest or mountain village. But if we observe it from the air, we discover its true essence: a cultivated landscape.

Since its origins, La Marina has been a town of farmers, and this activity has been and continues to be the livelihood of many families.

To commemorate 100 years of agricultural development, thanks to the Comunidad de Regantes El Provenir, we wanted to capture the essence of our land in this commemorative logo design contest. We are inspired by the image of the plowed land, waiting for water, because without it, it is nothing but dust.

This Centennial highlights the importance of water for the productivity of the countryside, representing it with a design that symbolizes a plowed field. We have created a commemorative logo in the shape of a “100”, drawn in the same way as the earth is plowed, waiting to be run through by water.
